UE5 Watch Tower Environment

This latest personal project is fan art inspired by the amazing 'Firewatch' poster. It took me about 5 hours to finish, from modelling to set to the render. Don't forget to also check the time-lapse video showing the whole process of the project. :)

I used Maya to model custom assets like the Watch Tower and the Wind Vane and also to simulate the flag and the cables. I used Substance Painter to texture the custom assets. I used Gaia to create the background mountains and Unreal 5.3 for the rest.

Besides the assets and materials from the Megascan Library, I also used a few from the Epic Marketplace like 'AdvancedGlassPack' (tower windows glasses), 'MWRedwoodForest' (hero foreground trees), 'SpruceForest' (pine trees), 'Easy Fog' (hero midground fog), 'UltraDynamicSky,' and a few others."
